An Oscillatoria type species of filamentous cyanobacterium, or blue-green algae. Determined by microscopic means by Dr. Paul Gainey, it was found in the splash zone, and where freshwater runs down the side of the slipway to the beach near Venton Farm, Marazion, Cornwall. 22.08.16.
