Specimens were found by T. Tucker on a small plastic float that washed-ashore at Praa Sands, near Helston, Cornwall. 10.03.2001. The float was covered with deepsea corals, Desmophyllum pertusum syn. Lophelia pertusa and a number of Desmophyllum dianthus, Cockscomb cup coral.

All fauna on the buoy was kindly identified by Helmut Zibrowius.
