The specimens photographed above are from the collection of Stella Turk M.B.E., which is in the care of the author of this website. The specimens are 80mm in length and appear to have been collected from the Durham coast in 1844 by a Mrs. King, labelled as its synonym Saxicava norvegica.

The specimen was photographed on 13.05.16.
