Adelosina bicornis here displayed was in sand collected by Adrian Brokenshire at an unknown location at Carrick Roads, Falmouth, Cornwall, collection date unknown. The identification is based upon "Jones, Robert Wynn, 1994: The Challenger Foraminifera Oxford Univ Press 416 pp. Plate 6, Fig. 9", the species has not been verified.
In Cornwall this species was occasionally found by Edward Heron-Allen FRS between 1904 and 1929, being found around the Eddystone, and widely across the south coast of Cornwall, from Newlyn, Penzance, Marazion, St. Mawes and Whitsand Bay. Prof. J. Clark recorded the species in Gerran's Bay, Mounts Bay and Poldu Cove and at Mullion pre. 1906. All records as Quinqueloculina bicornis.
