Adelosina mediterranensis here displayed was in sand collected by Adrian Brokenshire at an unknown location at Carrick Roads, Falmouth, Cornwall, collection date unknown. The identification is based upon "Sgarella F., and Moncharmon Zei, M., 1993: Benthic foraminifera in the Gulf of Naples (Italy): systematic and autoecology. Boll. Soc. Paleont. Ital., 32. Plate 7, Fig. 9-11", the specimen has not been verified.
