Spiroloculina depressa here displayed was in sand collected by Adrian Brokenshire at an unknown location at Carrick Roads, Falmouth, Cornwall, collection date unknown. The identification is based upon "Cushman, J., A., 1929: The Foraminifera of the Atlantic Ocean. Part 6. Miliolidae, Ophthalmidiidae and Fischerinidae. Smithsonian Institution United States National Museum Bulletin 104. Plate 9, Fig. 9", the specimen has not been verified.
