Caulerpa taxifolia (M.Vahl) C.Agardh, 1817 - Comb Seaweed, Green Sea Palm and Killer Algae.
This species is added here as a horizon species, this non-native highly invasive algae could potentially be released into the marine environment from saltwater aquaria in the UK and could cause significant damage to habitats such as seagrass beds as it has done elsewhere especially in the Mediterranean where it was accidentally released.
