Images of species taken on pond plants along the King George V Memorial Walk, Hayle, Cornwall. 15.09.11. The Dutch Rush was potted and was taken out of pond for the purpose of photography, this is why the Hydra appear this shape. Normally they look similar to stalked jellyfish. See stauromedusae.
