Caterpillars of the species were found under Atriplex glabruiscula, Babington's Orache, and Rumex crispus, Curled Dock, on the beach at Sennen Cove, Cornwall. 10.09.13.

Although frequently found on beaches and around the coast this migrant species is not exclusively a beach / shoreline species, but a common migrant and widespread across the region.
