The Field digger-wasp is a solitary wasp, active from late July to October in sandy places (such as heaths, dunes, waste places), here living with Colletes hederae, Ivy Bee in a barren bank behind a sea defence at Skilly, south of Newlyn, Cornwall, 08.09.18.
