Numerous specimens of this non-native, Pacific species were found on the lowershore on a low spring tide in front of the old pool at Baiters Point, Poole, Dorset, 12.09.18.

Pending confirmation but this species is noted to have recently spread to a number of locations within Poole Harbour. Baiters Point is opposite Brownsea Island where the species has been reported. The species in Poole Harbour was determined by DNA sequencing.
