The Oak (acorn), Quercus species, is not a true Sea Bean or seed, acorns often fall into streams and rivers and enter the sea and wash-up on beaches, especially on the strandline, the high tide mark.

The acorn above was found on the high tide mark at Langstone Rock, Dawlish Warren, Devon. 21.04.16.
