Specimens above found below the low tide level, on the side of a rock outcrop, on an extra low spring tide at Vellan Drang, The Lizard, Cornwall, 25.09.14. At Vellan Drang this variety appeared to be quite common and was associated with crisiid bryozoan turf and the algae Ceramium sp. and Halurus equisetifolius.
