Numerous specimens with sand attached to the tests, found carpeting a low flat-topped outcrop that was rarely exposed by the tide on a low spring tide, at Barricane Beach, Woolacombe, Devon, 19.09.17.

people find and identify it. Sometimes the difference between species is obvious but many species can only be determined by observing microscopic characteristics that are specific to any one species.
