The Cerithium vulgatum, Common or Atlantic Cerith specimen above is approx. 54mm long and 19mm wide. It was found in sandy mud at low Tide on Armona Island, off Olhão, Algarve, Portugal, prior to 1990. The specimen was added to the HORIZON species collection of the author and photographed on 30.04.20.
