The 68.5mm long specimen here was trawled by fishermen off the coast of Almeria, Spain. July 1974. Specimen photographed in authors collection 17.02.16 and 02.05.20.

This species is on the NBN Atlas having been recorded offshore in deep water off the west coast of Ireland and off N.W. Scotand.
