Specimens above were found on the uppershore at Par, near St. Austell, Cornwall, 16.05.09.

A species often overlooked due to its size and habitat as it is mostly found living inside old barnacles or in tiny crevices high on the uppershore. It is often found in association with other marine snails which may include Littorina saxatilis, the Rough Periwinkle and Littorina nigrolineata.

This species is also know as Littorina neritoides.
