The Monoplex corrugatus, Corrugated Triton Snail, specimen above is approx. 97mm long, 39mm wide and 33mm high, the shell was dredged from a depth of approx. 30 meters off Porto Venere, North Western Italy in 1969. The specimen was added to the HORIZON species collection of the author and photographed on 30.04.20.

Specimen photographed in authors collection 14.03.16. The specimen above was trawled by fishermen at a depth of 150m off Tenerife, Canary Islands. August 2009.
This species is on the NBN Atlas, and is there placed as a UK Horizon species meaning that it is likely to either be found or is expected in UK waters. In the case of this species moving north as waters warm due to climate change.
Gastropods.com has its distribution as Bay of Biscay to Angola, Mediterranean.
