Comparing Halisarca
on algae and stone.
PLEASE NOTE - When found on Fucus serratus and Ascophyllum nodosum a different species may be involved as the similar Halisarca metschnikovi, which can occur on both these species of algae at the mouths of estuaries (Lévi). Halisarca dujardini and Halisarca metschnikovi can only be distinguished by minute details of gametogenesis and larval development, so not visually.
