Species is abundant on decomposing organic debris, and and in algal mats formed at the edge of the saltmarsh at the east end Copperhouse Pool, Hayle, Cornwall. 18.08.16.

If life and under the microscope the worms appear a greyish-white colour.

Many thanks to Ton Van Haaren, Christer Erséus and Rüdiger M. Schmelz for their help in determining the genus. Enchytraeid oligochaetes being notoriously difficult to identify without microscopic identification by an expert in the subject.
