A single, approx. 4mm, juvenile specimen of Tubulanus banyulensis was found in a sample of fine sediment mixed with small species of algae. The sample was taken from the side of a pool below a protective boulder, on the extreme low water mark at Godrevy Point, near Gwithian, Hayle, Cornwall. 10.09.18.

Species kindly verified by Professor Juan Junoy, 12.09.18.

The main objective of this website is in furthering environmental awareness and education through the medium of photography. To increase awareness and access to the wildlife of the region and help
people find and identify it. Sometimes the difference between species is obvious but many species can only be determined by observing microscopic characteristics that are specific to any one species.
