Specimen above found on sieving clean sand just beyond the low tide mark in front of Penzance Promende, Penzance, Cornwall, 22.07.20. SW47072960.

Hundreds seen just beyond the low tide mark on seaweed that had just broken off a local reef during bad weather and had started to decay (driftweed). Species found above sand on the beach in front of Smeaton's Pier, St. Ives, Cornwall. 15.06.15.

Thanks go to Inga Williamson for identifying the species from images. The determination was later proved correct by microscopy.
