Specimen above found in a pool below the promenade at Chimney Rocks, Penzance, Cornwall. 31.07.15. Specimen about 10mm across in images, extended to 30mm when found.
Specimen above kindly identified by Dr. David Conway of the Marine Biological Association. Dr. Conway states the species is quite a common local physonectid siphonophore.
