The following jelly-like species can also be found stranded on the shore and in coastal waters around the region. They are however hydroids and are not true jellyfish.

Par Beach, Cornwall, after southerly wind in summer; from piers in tidal estuaries around Plymouth; Treyarnon Beach, North Cornwall; west end of Carlyon Bay (St. Austell) for Stalked Jellyfish.
