Specimen here was found in a pool at Porth Nanven, Cornwall, 10.09.13. Images of the specimen are included here to display the state of the rather vivid brood pouch. No ID of the mysid is needed.

David Conway at the MBA has stated that, this is not a parasite, isopod parasite or otherwise, but is completely normal, as what is being displayed are prelarval mysid individuals within the brood pouch.
