The specimen above was found in a sample of bryozoan turf that was taken from under a rock on the low tide mark at Porthpean, near St. Austell, Cornwall. 06.04.15.

The specimen above was found in a sample of material scraped from the foot of north facing rock overhang on the extreme lowershore at Godrevy Point, near Hayle, Cornwall. 08.06.16.

Specimen above was found in a scrape sample taken from a pontoon at Newlyn Marina, Newlyn, Cornwall. 13.03.18.

Trypanosyllis zebra is very likely a species complex which is why it is referred to here as Trypanosyllis cf. zebra. Molecular research is being carried out into this species.
