The neotype of Amphorina farrani featured above was collected from Newlyn Marina, Newlyn, Cornwall, United Kingdom, NE Atlantic, (50°06'10.00"N, 05°32'45.00"W), 10–20 m depth, stones with hydroids, 12 Aug 2015, coll. David Fenwick (GNM Gastropoda – 9268, preserved length 4.5 mm). Specimen above verified by DNA.
