Specimen above was found on weed washing bryozoan, Amathia covered Saw Wrack, Fucus serratus, found on rock below low water in front of Saltash New Pier, Saltash, Cornwall, 21.01.22.

The common name Crested sea slug is an expansion of 'Crested slug' used in the book Shell Life by Edward Step, 1901.
