Specimen found in a sample of marine fouling taken from a pontoon at Helford Yacht Club, Helford, Cornwall. 29.10.15.

According to the website Encyclopedia of Marine Life of Britain and Ireland by Bernard E. Picton and Christine C. Morrow, this species feeds exclusively on the plumulariid hydroid Plumularia setacea.
