This 3.5mm juvenile specimen was found in a small sample of Coral Weed, Corallina officinalis, scraped with a penknife from the edges of a lowershore pool at Skilly. south of Newlyn, Cornwall. 26.03.20. The species reputedly grows to about 80mm in length.
Okenia elegans is not a common species in the UK and has a western distribution. Its food preference is the sea squirt Polycarpa scuba which is fairly common on the shore on low spring tides. The species of nudibranch, not so common.
