A species usually found high on the uppershore often in small crevices and in association with other marine snails which may include Melarhaphe neritoides, the Small Periwinkle; Littorina saxatilis, s. lat., the Rough Periwinkle; and others. Specimen above was found on rocks on the uppershore at Sennen Cove, Cornwall, 16.10.11.
